Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LegalSimple ("Service"), operated by MHZ Ventures, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

1. Description of Service

LegalSimple provides:

• AI-powered legal guidance in plain English
• State-specific legal information for all 50 US states
• Legal document preparation assistance
• Licensed attorney document review within 24 hours
• Legal education and guidance resources

IMPORTANT LEGAL DISCLAIMER:

LegalSimple is NOT a law firm. We do NOT provide legal advice. Our AI assistant and attorney review service are for informational and document assistance purposes only. Use of our service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Always consult a licensed attorney for final legal decisions, court filings, and official legal matters.

2. Accounts

Account Creation:

You must create an account to access our services. You agree to provide accurate and complete information including your US state of residence which is used to personalize state-specific guidance.

Account Security:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at HiLegalSimple@outlook.com.

Account Termination:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

3. Payments and Refunds

Subscription Plans:

• Free Plan: No payment required, limited features
• Pro Plan $19/mo: Unlimited AI chat and document preparation
• Premium Plan $49/mo: Everything in Pro plus attorney review credits

One-Time Payments:

$29 per document for attorney review and signature

All payments processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your payment card information.

Refund Policy:

• Subscriptions: Cancel anytime. No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
• Attorney Reviews ($29): Non-refundable once a lawyer has been assigned to your document.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at HiLegalSimple@outlook.com.

4. Attorney Review Service

When you submit a document for attorney review:

• A licensed US attorney will review your document
• Review is completed within 24 hours of submission
• The attorney provides notes, feedback, and digital signature
• Attorney review does not create an attorney-client relationship
• Attorneys on our platform are independent contractors, not employees of LegalSimple
• MHZ Ventures is not responsible for the content of attorney feedback

5. AI-Generated Content

Our platform uses Google Gemini AI to generate legal guidance and documents. You acknowledge:

• AI guidance is for informational purposes only
• AI-generated documents should be reviewed by a licensed attorney before use
• Results may not be accurate for your specific legal situation
• We are not responsible for outcomes based on AI-generated content
• AI content may not reflect the most current changes in law

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use LegalSimple to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Create fraudulent or deceptive documents
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to hack our systems
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Submit false or misleading information
• Use our AI to generate harmful content
• Circumvent payment requirements

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content:

The LegalSimple name, logo, website design, and proprietary technology are owned by MHZ Ventures and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content:

You retain ownership of the information and documents you create on our platform. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content to provide our services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

LEGALSIMPLE DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY LEGAL INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH OUR PLATFORM.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MHZ VENTURES AND LEGALSIMPLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MHZ Ventures, LegalSimple, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at HiLegalSimple@outlook.com.

We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. For unresolved disputes, both parties agree to binding arbitration rather than a jury trial.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LegalSimple regarding the Service.
